ETAWARE was developed by the the New Media department of the University of Art and Design Zurich (HGKZ).

The original funding was provided by KTI Switzerland
(Kommission für Technologie und Innovation).

The ETAWARE development team consists of knowbotic research (concept, realisation, eta-server development), Gilles Iachelini (editor tool development) and Max Rheiner (performance tool concept and development).

Special thanks to the Media Art Academy Cologne (KHM) who provided the Vilem Flusser Archive as the testenvironment for the the Beta Version of the ETAWARE and who also supported with big efforts the release of the first software version.
